Fairhope AL, Dancing, & Jump Zone

We are on our way back from checking out more Walmarts in AL. We went all the way down to Gulf Shores and made our way back home. We stopped in Fairhope AL at a park by the beach and Peyton had fun. She chased the ducks and got a little too close. She was not scared at all! We had to keep her back...she would get close and start quacking at them. They would run off...it was hilarious!

I also got some cute shots of Peyton dancing in the car...she LOVES to dance and act crazy to the music....it is so funny to watch her get down!

A New dance move!

Not real sure about this one!

On Sunday, Chris, Chelle, & Katelyn invited us to go to the Jump Zone in Franklin and I have to say this is Peyton's new favorite place! She had a ball and loved playing with Katelyn. I loved this picture of them coming down the slide...look @ Peyton's hair! Thanks Chris and Chelle for the invite, we will have to do it again soon!

Not much else going on....just traveling in the rain and ready to get back home. I think Peyton wil be glad to get back to her toys and bed....hope you all have a great weekend!

She might just like it
We finally got the long anticipated snow storm and were able to play in it, just a bit. It wasn't the nice powdery snow, it had a film of ice on top, so sleding was not what we thought it was going to be. Peyton enjoyed it for a few minutes and then she really didn't care much about it. Chris, Chelle, & Katelyn came over so the girls could sled, Then Dan & Kyler came over too. I think the adults had more fun than they did.
We spent most of our time driving around in the snow and ice to find Peyton a sled and snow suit and we didn't have luck finding either. The roads are awful and we were out! We are crazy I know, but we wanted Peyton to have the right gear...the things we do :) We had fun sliding around the roads...thank goodness not to many others had the same idea as us....they were smart and stayed in!!
Other than the snow, we have been gearing up for more travel for work. We will be heading to AL & Knoxville in the next few weeks...I hope Bobby has another trip to FL or somewhere warm soon...this cold weather is getting old fast!
Hope you all have a great week and enjoy the pretty scenery.

Florida

We just got back from a long work trip to Florida. Bobby is over Walmart, so he has to travel around and check out different Walmart stores to make sure the product looks right and is not damaged. He was asked to take a mower to Hollywood, FL (around Ft. Lauderdale) for a photo shoot, so Peyton and I decided to go with him...a trip to FL...oh, yeah! We had such a great time. The weather was perfect, sunny/75....we didn't want to come home. We dropped the mower off and checked all the Walmarts in the area and headed over to Naples (which is a really neat area), then we headed to St. Petersburg/Tampa. We were able to stop at the beach in St. Pete and blow some bubbles and fly a kite...Peyton had a blast. It was beautiful and we could not ask for a more perfect time at the beach. Then, we made a stop in Tampa to visit my Uncle Bill. It was good to see him. We had not seen him since the wedding and he had never met Peyton, so we really enjoyed our visit with him. After leaving Tampa, we headed to more Walmarts and made a stop in Chiefland to visit Bobby's Uncle James and Aunt Sylvia...it is always good to see them. They have 2 huge dogs and Peyton couldn't take her eyes off of them...I think she wanted to ride them! Our final stop was Enterprise, AL to visit Bobby's cousin Cindy. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see her b/c she was sick, but we hope to see her next time. It was a busy week and I feel like I am now a Walmart guru....we had such a great time and enjoyed the nice weather, but it sure is good to get home, even though the weather is not nice! Bobby is so blessed to have a great job and we are lucky that we can travel with him most of the time.

I will leave you with some pics from our trip. Have a great week!

Christmas & Potty Training!

We had a great Christmas and are ready for the New Year...we hope you all had a great holiday season. Peyton did great...she is teething so she was a little under the weather and didn't get as excited about Santa as we thought, but overall it was good. Peyton is in to everything...we never have a dull moment. She doesn't ever sit still and we are constantly playing and learning new things. She is so sweet and loving, but she gets an attitude every now and then and I think I am going to pull my last hair out! She has been interested in the potty for a couple of months, so we got her a potty after Christmas and she has been using it quite a bit...at least 1-5 times a day...we have only had 1 pooping, but I will take what I can get! I would love to have her trained by 2 if possible...so we shall see! I will leave you with some pics...sorry they are a little out of order. Take care and have a very happy 2010!!!!
Peyton loves her gloves and playing MeMe's piano

First day on the potty...she has to read a book every time!

Playing with the kitchen Santa brought her

She loves my old cradle and cabbage patch dolls, I think they are her favorite
Coming in to see what Santa brought

Christmas Eve - Talking on the scanner of the cash register...she thought it was a phone

Toting her dolls around
She took the stickers off the bottom of her kiddie table and chairs and stuck them on her chest and ran all over the house

This is her favorite outfit...top paired with her boots only
I was cooking and she got really quiet...I turned around and she had the oreos out of the cabinet....one in each hand and one in her mouth...she was scared I was going to take them away from her

Ho, Ho, Ho

Scared Peyton with Santa

Family pic

trying to sneak a ball off the tree

Miss Diva in training

Peyton loves the tree

We are getting into the Christmas spirit at the Namie house. Peyton loves everything to do with Christmas....when we see Santa anywhere (on the tree, in yards, stores, etc..), she says "ho, ho" over and over again. She loves the Christmas lights and the tree. Thank goodness she has not really messed with the tree. She will point at the ornaments and say what they are, but that is about it. She tried to take a ball the first day we had the tree up, but after we got on to her, she just looks at it all the time. We thought she would be so excited to see Santa, but she just stared at him and looked scared in the picture...and as soon as we got back to the car, she started saying "ho, ho" like crazy....she is too funny!
Other than Christmas stuff, life has been pretty normal. Peyton is into everything and just so much fun right now. We are gearing up for Christmas and we think she will have a blast.
Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!

I know, shame on me for not posting in forever....Facebook has become my way of keeping up with pics, etc....b/c it is quick and easy. I have kept up with everyone else and feel bad every month that I don't have an update, so we will see if I can keep up better this time.
Life is good...our house in on the market and we hope to move to Hendersonville someday...we are there all the time enjoying our new boat.
Peyton is wonderful...she is 17 months a pistol for sure....life stays so busy. She is talking up a storm now and is just so much fun! I will leave you with some pictures of the past few months.
