I know, shame on me for not posting in forever....Facebook has become my way of keeping up with pics, etc....b/c it is quick and easy. I have kept up with everyone else and feel bad every month that I don't have an update, so we will see if I can keep up better this time.
Life is good...our house in on the market and we hope to move to Hendersonville someday...we are there all the time enjoying our new boat.
Peyton is wonderful...she is 17 months a pistol for sure....life stays so busy. She is talking up a storm now and is just so much fun! I will leave you with some pictures of the past few months.

11 months old

This is what Peyt thinks about the sippy cup!

Crawling into the cabinet @ the hotel
Life has been great...Peyt is 11 months old and will soon be a year old...time sure does fly by! We have been busy traveling w/Bobby's work and vacation. Peyt had her first fall and looked like she had been in a fight, but all is good now. She has 6 teeth and I think a couple more on the way, she waves and rambles all the time. She loves the boat....that is where you will find us most pretty days. Hope everyone is well and I will try not to slack so much between posts!

9 months already!

Peyt eating homeade peach yogurt...she loves it!

I can't believe Peyt is 9 months old. Time has flown by...it has been an absolute blast. She is crawling all the time, pulling up on things, standing for just a second before falling, reaches for mommy and daddy, has 2 teeth, and is just the biggest joy in our lives. Dr. White says she is doing wonderful, so we are thankful to have a healthy baby. Here are her 9 month stats:

weight: 18 lbs 1 oz (50%)
height: 29 1/2" (95%)
head: 46 cm (95%)

I loved the above pic of her yogurt mustache...I have been making all her food, including pasta and yogurt. It is hard work, but she really seems to like it.

Hope you all are doing well...take care!

Not much going on

We went to Gatlinburg w/ our friends Frank & Gabby...Peyt & Cole had a good time. We had a great time but it sure was cold!

We also visited Peyt's Uncle Sonny, Aunt Crickett, & Great Grandpa. We try to get down to AL every 3 months or so to visit. Peyt had a great time playing w/ Grandpa.

Still no teeth...I don't think they are ever going to come in....she loves to eat everything! I am so glad she is not a picking eater, like her daddy! She loves parsnips...even I am not a fan of parsnips...I think it helps that I make her food and can spice it up. I hope she will love all food as she gets older.
Other than that, we hung out w/our Aunt Leigh @ Puffy Muffin, which is always wonderful. It was so good to catch up.
We also left Peyt w/my folks for the first time so we could celebrate my friend Amy's 30th birthday :) We are all turning 30 this year (my core group of dear friends - a couple beat us to it last year & they survived, so I guess we will too!). It was so much fun visiting & I was so impressed that Peyt was awesome for my parents! She has always been so clingy to me & has just begun hanging w/Bobby for stretches of time so I was so worried she would be a terror....I worried for nothing :)
Have a great week!

Jenn's Shower & 7 Months old

I can't believe that Peyt turned 7 months old on the 2nd...time sure does fly! She is doing so great. Here is a list of some of the things she is doing now:

Grabbing things and passing them back and forth
Reaching for mommy & daddy
Kissing
Sounds like she says - Hey, okay, thank you, bye (don't really know what she is saying, but it is too cute!)
Sits up all the time
She can sit up from laying down position
She rolls everywhere
Gets in crawling position, but wants nothing to do with it
She loves to laugh really loud
Still no teeth, but it has to be anytime now, b/c her gums can't get much more swollen!
She will finally stay with daddy for longer periods of time....this is nice so I can take a break:)
She loves to eat everything - favorite is still sweet potatoes
She loves the remote control, so we had to get her one that doesn't go to a TV b/c she messed ours up from touching all the buttons
She is content playing with a water bottle
When she smiles, her face just lights up...so precious!

She is just the greatest blessing ever!
Her favorite thing to doShe loves her playhouse

She is almost too tall for this thing, but she loves it

I love her zebra shoes :)

My girls that hosted Jenn's shower
Jenn is having a baby in February, so we had her shower at my house last weekend. We had a blast. It was so good to have everyone in town and a special treat to see Wendy & Sarah! They are precious people and dear friends. It was so nice to catch up. We had the shower and then we had dinner at Carraba's...it was good, but the waiter was not very friendly, but we survived! It was nice having a girls night without any babies. We got to catch up and it felt like old times. We are very excited for Jenn and can't wait to meet Abbie Rose!

Christmas was great....we had family over the night before Christmas eve and then my folks came over on Christmas eve. Christmas Day, we headed to Bobby's folks and enjoyed watching all the kids open presents. I ended up getting the stomach bug on Christmas, so my day was not so good, but I enjoyed spending Peyt's first Christmas with her. She didn't really care much about the presents, but she did like eating the paper. We didn't make a big fuss this year b/c we knew that she had no clue, but next year will be a blast I am sure!
